Cleats (not mandatory but strongly suggested) Equipment

A requirement for all Walnut Creek Warrior players is that they provide their own equipment.

Should your son or daughter wish to play goalie, each team does have goalie gear available, but the player MUST still have the required equipment listed below!

Locally, Sling It! Lacrosse sells all of the necessary equipment for both boys and girls.  They have everything from starter packages to the most advanced equipment available.

Below is a list of the required equipment:
Boys:

• a NOCSAE certified helmet, preferably in Walnut Creek Warrior colors - Maroon
• A Crosse (shaft and head) that meets NFHS specification
• Shoulder pads
• Lacrosse gloves (hockey gloves are NOT allowed)
• Cup
• Mouth guard
• Cleats (not mandatory but strongly suggested)
• Arm / Elbow pads
• Rib pads (optional) 

Girls:

• A crosse (shaft and head) that meets NFHS specifications
• Mouth Guard
• Goggles
  
• Cleats (not mandatory, but suggested)
